What’s G5?
G5 is a Youth Ministry for 6‐12th graders at TUMC in Clayton, NJ and we exist to GLORIFY God, GROW in our faith, GATHER with friends, GO into the world, and GIVE back to God and community. The students who make up this group come to hang out with each other, meet new friends, and discuss topics that apply to our lives.
However, we won’t kid around with you. This is a “church group” but we think you will be surprised by how non “churchy” we are. And as long as you’re a human between 6th to 12th grade, you are more then welcome to join us in all things that we do! Anyone is welcome no matter what you believe or think, where you live, or even if you knew anyone in our group to begin with.
G5 Minstries offers Youth Group which offers a more relaxing environment to discover the word of God and Bible Studies which offers a in-depth look into the specifics of the word of God. Both Programs are led by Youth Pastor Dave Hallahan.
Youth Group
Need a place to just relax and be yourself? Want to just hang out with people your age? Our Sunday Night Youth Group is perfect for that. We hang out, play some games, eat some food, share a little, and more. Best of all, its free! You come and bring some friends and we take care of the rest. It’s a low key, a relaxed atmosphere, and a good time.
Youth Group meets just about every Sunday between 6 PM to 8:30 PM at Trinity UMC. For the 2010 summer, Youth Group will only meet every other week.
Dave Hallahan
Dave Hallahan is a student at Philadelphia Biblical University who plans to graduate in about a year and a half. He will have a degree in Biblical Studies with a concentration in Youth Ministry. Dave had a passion for working with youth since he was one myself. Now that he is officially a Youth Pastor, he often says that he has the greatest job in the world. When he’s am not Youth Pastoring he love to watch sports, especially baseball and hockey. Dave also enjoy listening to music. He has a very eclectic taste and he’s open to trying out new music.
